This video reveals the process of diagramming the poem. I wanted this graphic to most closely relate to the printed version, so I scanned in the same paper for the background & repeated the overall structure/concept, just showing the way in which it was formed in a close up personal way.
With this video I wanted to pull away a bit from the printed version, visually, but using some of the same concept. Something I wanted the reader of my printed book to experience was that the order in which you read Gertrude Stein's poems doesn't matter. Here I'm playing with starting the motion at the end of the poem. The viewer will experience this poem scrambled up into little fragments they change from black on white to white on black. Within the fragments I made them read in a few different ways sometimes from back to front and other times descriptive words coming secondary.
